Project Buyer


Working in an international enterprise means growing with exciting projects and multiple opportunities in a great network. We are currently looking for a Project Buyer Administration and Co-ordination of all Purchasing related activities for launch of New Programs by performing the following duties

Your tasks:  Responsible for receiving, recording, and tracking the supplier PPAP's to ensure 100% on time delivery.  Create NPI Supplier Sourcing tables to ensure all purchased parts are nominated and approved for source in time to ensure customer PPAP timing is achieved.  Maintains all records of program actions through matrices and evidence binders.  Reports exceptions to Commodity Managers.  Prepares weekly "heads-up" list to report progress and distributes to commodity buyers.  Represent the purchasing department as appropriate in cross functional teams such as New Project introduction.  Provide input, with justification, with regard to forecast spend and Fast Track variations for those projects under management.  Responsible to review and resolve any Fast Track Discrepancies with support from Commodity Managers.  Preparation and publication of Purchasing Bills of material to the department for new business quotes, and ensuring inputs are completed in a timely manner.  Administration of monthly reports ensuring completion, accuracy and publishing in timely manner.

Your profile:

Excellent verbal and written english

 Minimum two years Purchasing in a relevant industry preferred but not required.

 Exposure to Supplier Development principles.

Technical Engineer or Bachelor's degree.
